Owner and Operator Mary Joan Aylward launched Aylward Research Services in 2006.
Mary Joan holds a Bachelor of Science double major in Psychology & Linguistics (Memorial University of Newfoundland), an Associate Degree in Applied in Behavior Management (Memorial University - School of Social Work); a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis (Columbia University) and is currently under-taking a PhD in Social Policy.
Mary Joan's practical and understandable approach to data collection and analysis to everyday life and decision making has made her research style (referred to as functional), report writing, and strategic recommendations the preferred choice by school administrators, municipal leaders, and senior decision makers. Mary Joan's motto permeates all projects undertaken by Aylward Research Services - " If you don't understand the research or can't use the outcomes then your investment was a waste of your time and money ... and we haven't done our job right!"
